It has always been a fact that SEO follows the most basic law of nature which would be survival of the fittest but this does not mean that by using black hat SEO you can attain higher rank on SERPS. With this in mind most people would use tools like Senuke and Senuke X just to name a few that most are using these days. Certainly black hat or should I say the dark side of SEO can increase your sites rank faster than your regular white hat techniques. And it is easier and relatively takes less stress from the person but I for one am not that impressed with the way it work. Black hat techniques just spams your articles at a rapid rate on different social networking and bookmarking sites. A great increase on SERPS but most people on the net don’t know you at all. And that is why I choose white hat or manual link building over black hat.

Maybe it is due to the fact that I value quality over quantity. By all means, white hat really is the backbone of your project. White hat techniques can very well last quite a long time and given that you are the one who made and posted it on different sites, it would very well give you a chance to know other bloggers that can really help you out. Knowing other bloggers can really help you out by means of blog rolls and if you are really that close then that blogger will mention you on his articles and blog.

You can’t really go wrong in white hat since you are the one that is doing everything. It may be more stressful to the body but the rewards of it will really be worth the time and stress. Although I have to say that white hat is not fast and it may be trying at times but the best advice for this is be patient. Ask any great blogger about white hat and they will all say the same thing, that it is the best technique but always be patient about it. Give it at least 3 months and you’ll see the benefits of your labor on SERPS and on your blog. But whatever you decide on these techniques, always choose what you think is right for you and your projects. So once again I say “Choose Wisely”.
